FDA Vaccine Post Candidate Is Fox News Regular, Frequent Newsom Critic

Houman Hemmati, a board-certified ophthalmologist, biotech executive and frequent Fox News guest, is a candidate to become the US’ top vaccine and gene therapy regulator, according to senior administration officials.

Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Marty Makary has begun conducting interviews, and several other candidates also are under consideration, the officials said on the condition of anonymity to discuss personnel issues.
