Mexico Central Bank Taps Heffner to be New Chief Economist
Mexico’s central bank has tapped Aldo Heffner Rodriguez as its new chief economist, filling a role that has been vacant for half a year.
The move will take effect on April 13, a Banxico spokesman told Bloomberg News. Heffner replaced Alejandrina Salcedo, who resigned in October to take a role at the Bank of International Settlements.
