US Plans to Build Fuel Depot in Philippines, Manila’s Military Says

The Philippine military on Friday said the US is planning to build a fuel depot on the Southeast Asian nation’s southern island.

The Armed Forces of the Philippines will have control of the facility, which will be governed by defense pacts between Manila and Washington, Navy spokesperson Roy Vincent Trinidad told reporters.
