Police in Toronto arrested a man for allegedly firing on the homes of GFL Environmental Inc. Chief Executive Officer Patrick Dovigi and another GFL-affiliated executive.

Ilan Philosophe was charged on Thursday with discharging a firearm and conspiring with another person to discharge a firearm at two residences in Toronto on Sept. 29 and 30, 2024. The first house belonged to Dovigi and the second to Ted Manziaris, who worked for a sister company of GFL.
