SoftBank Group Prices ¥418 Billion of Retail Bonds
SoftBank Group Corp. priced yen hybrid bonds targeting retail investors at an initial five-year coupon of 4.97%, marking the highest level for such debt issued by the company.
The ¥418 billion ($2.6 billion) offering consists of 35-year subordinated notes callable after five years. Proceeds will be used in part to refinance bonds with a first call date in June 2026, according to a company statement.
