Sweden’s Apartment-Price Rise Signals Nascent Market Recovery

Swedish apartment prices rose to the highest in almost four years in a sign that a nascent recovery on the housing market continued despite new worries over the economic impact of the Iran war.

The average price of apartments rose 1.9% in March compared to a month earlier and was 3.1% higher than the previous year, according to data published Thursday by Svensk Maklarstatistik, owned by the Swedish Association of Real Estate Agents. The three-month rolling average price was the highest since April 2022.
