Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni vowed to stay on until the end of her government’s mandate, seeking to stabilize her tenure after a bruising referendum loss last month.

“The government is here, in its full capacity, determined to do its best until the very last day of its mandate,” Meloni told lawmakers in Rome. “We committed to governing this nation for five years, and that’s exactly what we will do.”
