StanChart Weighs Partial Takeover of Crypto Custodian Zodia

Standard Chartered Plc is seeking to fully merge parts of majority-owned Zodia Custody Ltd. with one of its digital-asset operations, people with knowledge of the matter said.

The lender plans to integrate Zodia’s crypto custody business into the division inside its corporate and investment bank that provides similar services, said the people, who asked not to be named discussing private negotiations.
