Labour Party in Fourth at Start of Month-Long Sprint to UK Elections

Labour has slipped to fourth place in UK national polling ahead of a set of local and regional elections next month that are shaping up to be particularly bruising for Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s governing party.

With four weeks to go until the votes take place, just 17.3% of Britons would back Labour in a general election, according to Bloomberg’s composite poll, a rolling 14-day average using data from nine polling companies. In the past 10 days, the party fell behind the Greens, having trailed Reform UK since last April and the Conservatives intermittently since December.
