Israelis appear worried that the fragile US-Iran ceasefire won’t end the threat posed by Tehran, even as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his support for the truce won’t affect Israel’s invasion of Lebanon, where the military is fighting Iran-backed Hezbollah.

“Israel has had tremendous achievements that until recently would have seemed imaginary,” Netanyahu said in a video statement Wednesday evening, his first public remarks after the US-announced ceasefire went into effect almost 24 hours earlier.
