Colombia Downgraded by S&P Ratings Amid Growing Fiscal Concerns

Colombia’s credit score was downgraded by S&P Global Ratings for the second time in less than a year on concerns over a persistently large fiscal deficit and high debt burden.

The firm lowered the nation’s foreign currency rating one notch to BB- with a stable outlook, bringing it in line with Mongolia and the Bahamas.
