Turkish police killed one gunmen and wounded two others in a shootout outside the Israeli consulate in Istanbul on Tuesday.

At least two police officers were also wounded in the clash, which coincided with Israel and the US threatening to ramp up attacks against Iran’s civilian infrastructure in the war in the Middle East.
