Kim Jong Un Praises South Korea’s Lee for Apology on Drones
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un offered rare praise for South Korean President Lee Jae Myung, state media reported, after Lee expressed regret over an incident in which South Korean citizens sent drones over the border into the North’s airspace.
North Korea’s leader referred to the apology as “a manifestation of a frank and broad-minded man’s attitude,” Kim’s sister, Kim Yo Jong, said in a statement carried by the Korean Central News Agency on Monday.
