US Stocks Gain Despite Trump’s Threat to ‘Take Out’ Iran

US equities posted a fourth straight day of gains even as President Donald Trump said Iran could be “taken out” Tuesday night, while oil prices climbed.

The S&P 500 Index rose 0.4% and the Nasdaq 100 Index added 0.6%. The Cboe VIX Index hovered around 24.
