Travelers Flying Out of Singapore Limited to Two Power Banks
Singapore will cap the number of power banks to two for each traveler flying out of the city state to reduce the fire risk associated with lithium batteries.
From April 15, passengers will have to discard excess power banks before they depart, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore said in a statement on Monday. Power banks must not be charged during the flight, and passengers are advised not to use them to charge personal devices while on-board, the authority said.
