Russia Dismisses Push at UN to Force Open the Strait of Hormuz

The Security Council resolution proposed by Bahrain with support from other Gulf states and Jordan would back a range of “defensive measures” to secure transit passage through the vital waterway, according to the United Arab Emirates.
