KKR Secures $23 Billion for Americas PE in Its Largest-Ever Haul

KKR & Co. raised approximately $23 billion for its latest Americas buyout fund, defying an industry slump as private equity firms struggle to sell assets and return capital to investors.

North America Fund XIV beat its $20 billion target, making it the largest vehicle in any of its strategies on record. It’s also the biggest North America-focused private equity vehicle raised by any firm, KKR said in a statement Thursday.
