Inwit Vows to Defend Business After Biggest Customers Defect

Inwit SpA said it told its lawyers to “pursue all appropriate actions” to protect its interests, after the phone-tower operator’s two biggest customers made plans to break away and build their own network.

The initiatives taken by Telecom Italia SpA and Swisscom AG’s Fastweb + Vodafone are “unlawful, without legal foundation, self-serving and spurious,” and aimed at forcing a contract revisions to gain better prices, Inwit said Thursday as it reported fourth quarter results.
