India to Participate In UK-Led Initiative to Reopen Hormuz

India will participate in a UK-led initiative to explore ways to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, the South Asian country’s Ministry of External Affairs said.

Vikram Misri, India’s top diplomat, will be representing the country in the first round of talks, Randhir Jaiswal, the ministry’s spokesperson told reporters in New Delhi on Thursday, without giving further details.
