US District Judge Jed Rakoff made the decision Thursday following a hearing in New York federal court. Victims will have the opportunity to object at a final hearing scheduled for Aug. 27. David Boies, a lawyer for a woman who filed the class-action suit, said 60 to 75 people would be eligible to share the payout.
