Pakistan Inflation Quickens After Fuel Price Surge From War

Pakistan’s inflation accelerated in March, with fuel prices going up due to the war in the Middle East.

The consumer price index rose 7.3% in March from a year earlier, data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics showed Wednesday, lower than the 7.5% median estimate in a Bloomberg survey. Inflation print was 7% in February.
