‘English Is Not a Threat’: Canadian CEO Takes On Quebec Politics

Canadian entrepreneur Andrew Lutfy was upbeat after his fast-fashion retailer, Groupe Dynamite Inc., reported excellent results. But before digging into the financial details with analysts, he decided to speak about politics — in French.

“A high-performing economy cannot thrive under an overly burdensome government,” Lutfy, the chief executive officer, said during the company’s fourth-quarter conference call Wednesday.
