“I know the public are concerned about the conflict in Iran and what it means for them and their families,” Starmer said in a statement issued by 10 Downing Street. The statement also highlighted previously-announced measures taking effect on April 1, including an increase in the minimum wage, a freeze on prescription prices and a reduction in energy bills through to July.
