New York Sends Jet Fuel to England in Unusual War Trade Reroute
Two ships carrying jet fuel are headed from New York to England as the war in Iran throws global aviation fuel supply into disarray.
The Puffin Pacific and Pyxis Lamda are crossing the Atlantic and expected to land in the UK in the coming days, according to energy data intelligence firm Kpler. The last time the US sent jet fuel from New York to Europe was in July 2024, according to Kpler.
