ICE Tells Traders There’s Enough Oil for Its Murban Futures

Intercontinental Exchange Inc. took the unusual move of writing to reassure traders that there would be enough barrels available for delivery during the expiry of the United Arab Emirates’ Murban futures contract this month.

It’s rare for an exchange to issue such comfort to traders, but comes as the war in the Middle East disrupts supply from the UAE and strains the region’s benchmark prices.
