Bitcoin Snaps Five-Month Long Losing Streak Amid Iran Optimism

Bitcoin broke a five-month long losing streak, registering its first monthly gain since September as US President Donald Trump and Iran signal willingness to end the Middle East conflict.

The largest cryptocurrency rose as much as 2.9% to around $68,500 on Tuesday. The increase put Bitcoin up around 2% for March, ending a slide that has seen it lose around 40% of its value. Ether, the second-largest cryptocurrency, was up as much as 5% while Solana and XRP saw gains of as much as 2.2% and 1.5%, respectively.
