NFL Inks Deal With Tiger Woods’ TMRW Sports to Start Flag Football League

The NFL signed a deal with TMRW Sports to create professional men’s and women’s flag football leagues, trying to cash in on a sport that’s rising in popularity ahead of its Olympic debut.

As part of the agreement, the NFL will invest $32 million through its venture capital fund, according to a press release. Other backers include Ariel Investments/Project Level, Bessemer Venture Partners, Blue Pool Capital, Dynasty Equity, Silver Lake and Sixth Street.
