Indonesia Prosecutors Detain Coal Tycoon Samin Tan in Graft Case
Indonesian prosecutors have detained coal tycoon Samin Tan as a suspect in a corruption probe tied to mining operations in Central Kalimantan, according to the Attorney General’s Office late Friday.
Investigators initially identified the businessman by the initials ST, who was later confirmed to be Tan by a spokesperson for the Attorney General’s Office in a text message to Bloomberg News on Saturday.
