Thailand is tightening oversight of fuel pricing and supply as authorities ramp up efforts to address shortages across parts of the country.

Refineries must display selling prices at their sites along with current inventory levels, under new directives outlined by the Energy Ministry late Thursday. Traders are required to adhere to declared prices and cannot charge above government-set levels, it said.
