Women Win Record 48% of Danish Parliament Seats in Vote

Denmark’s parliament is on the cusp of gender parity after female representation hit a record high in this week’s vote.

Women won 48% of the 179 seats in the Danish legislature, according to a tally by newswire Ritzau. That’s up from the previous record of 44% in 2022.
