US Probes Stanford’s Medical School Over Admission Policy, Report Says

The US Department of Justice is investigating medical-school admissions policies at Stanford University, Ohio State University and University of California at San Diego over possible racial discrimination, part of a campaign by the Trump administration to reshape higher education.

The colleges confirmed the probes after the New York Times reported that they are facing requests from the agency’s civil rights division for data including medical school applicant test scores, ties to donors, and internal university communications.
