Spain Announces Deal With Algeria to Increase Gas Imports

Algeria will increase gas supplies to Spain as global energy markets face heightened instability linked to the war in Iran, the Spanish government said.

“We have decided to deepen our gas and energy relationship and take it even further by increasing supply volumes,” Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares told reporters on Thursday during a visit to Algiers.
