Swedish Leader’s Election Bid Aided by Junior Partner Poll Bump

Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson’s chances to win another term in power got a boost after voter support for a junior coalition partner rose six months ahead of a general election.

Backing for the Liberals jumped to 4.5% in March from 2.5% last month, clearing the 4% threshold for entry into parliament for the first time since 2022, a survey by the pollster Demoskop published by Swedish daily Svenska Dagbladet showed on Wednesday.
