African Nations Assure Residents, Warn Against Hoarding Fuel
African nations from South Africa to Kenya said they have sufficient fuel and warned against hoarding amid fears of shortages caused by the Iran war, even as counterparts in Asia began rationing and restricting exports.
Kenya said it has 102 million liters of gasoline with another 330 million liters on track to be delivered, while South Africa has sufficient strategic fuels stocks with more on the way. Uganda also said it has enough supply.
