Hedge Fund Verition Looks to Extend Dubai Lease Despite Gulf War

Verition Fund Management is looking to extend its office lease in Dubai, in a sign that the United Arab Emirates hub remains key to the firm’s long-term plans despite a regional conflict that’s now in its fourth week.

The multistrategy hedge fund firm is in the process of extending its lease by five years and expects to add to its presence in the Middle East, according to a spokesperson. Verition, which manages more than $14 billion, employs about 50 people in Dubai and acquired a license in 2023.
