Retired US Air Force General Charles “CQ” Brown Jr., the former highest-ranking US military officer who was abruptly fired by President Donald Trump last year, has joined an artificial intelligence-enabled autonomous drone technology company partly owned by Trump’s two eldest sons.

Brown, who will serve as a senior adviser and executive-in-residence, will advise drone tech company Powerus on defense strategy, autonomous systems deployment and national security partnerships, according to a statement from the company, which described him as “an outstanding leader.”
