Circle Makes Africa Deal With Nvidia-Backed Cassava Unit

Circle Internet Group Inc. agreed partnership with a unit of Nvidia Corp.-backed Cassava Technologies to offer customers the ability to conduct transactions in the US company’s stablecoin, the first such deal for the firm in Africa.

Clients of Cassava’s Sasai Fintech Ltd. unit — which runs a money-transfer app across 30 of the continent’s markets — can make domestic and cross-border payments using USDC, a dollar-backed stablecoin from Circle.
