Chevron Plans to Buy Oil From Sable for California Refinery

The intention by Chevron to buy an initial 20,000 barrels a day of oil is another boost for Sable, which has faced concerted environmental opposition to its attempt to revive operations in Californian water. Sable’s plans have also become politicized amid the debate over how to address fast-rising fuel prices in the state.
