Halter, a New Zealand-based startup selling artificial intelligence-powered collars for cows, has raised $220 million from investors to expand the reach of its technology to more ranchers around the world.

The announcement confirms Bloomberg’s reporting last week that the company had doubled its valuation to $2 billion in a deal led by Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund. Halter had previously raised $100 million in June in a funding round led by BOND.
