Finnair Picks Mix of Embraer, Airbus Planes for Short-Haul Fleet

Finnair Oyj will buy a mix of new Embraer SA aircraft and used Airbus SE planes as part of a push to renew its narrow-body fleet for European and regional flights.

The Finnish flag carrier said Monday Bloomberg Terminalit had signed an agreement with Embraer to order 18 E195-E2 aircraft and had secured an additional 16 options and 12 purchase rights. Finnair also plans to source as many as 12 used Airbus A320/321ceos.
