Dragos Inc., a cybersecurity firm that’s contracted to do business with US government agencies, won’t halt its use of Anthropic PBC’s artificial intelligence products unless formally told by the government to stop, according to the company’s chief executive officer.

Dragos CEO Robert Lee said an interview with Bloomberg News that he doesn’t “know all of the details” of what took place ahead of the Pentagon’s decision to declare that AI model developer Anthropic poses a threat to the US government’s supply chain. But he added, “The optics of it looked like it was a knee-jerk reaction over a couple of policy points.”
