Brazil Economists See Higher Selic and Inflation After Rate Cut

The benchmark Selic will reach 12.5% in December, up from the prior estimate of 12.25%, according to a weekly central bank survey of economists published on Monday. The 2026 year-end inflation forecast edged up to 4.17% from 4.1%.
