Slovenia’s general election was too close to call as an exit poll put Prime Minister Robert Golob in a tight lead over nationalist leader Janez Jansa.

Golob’s Freedom Movement won 29.9% of the ballot compared with 27.5% for Jansa’s Slovenian Democratic Party, according to the poll conducted by Mediana for public broadcaster RTVSLO published on Sunday. The forecast was within the margin of error.
