Jefferies’ Paralympic Skier Trained and Worked Remotely on the Alpine Slopes

When Alejandra Requesens competed earlier this month at the Paralympic Games, some of her colleagues from the Jefferies Financial Group Inc. prime brokerage desk were there to cheer for her. Many more saw her race, as the screens of the trading floor in London broadcast the competition live from Milan.

Back in front of her trading screens in the UK, Requesens, 23, said she is still processing the experience. It was her first time at the Games, competing in the women’s giant slalom and slalom events for visually impaired athletes as part of the Spanish national team alongside her guide Victoria Ibanez.
