Volkswagen Nominates Poetsch for Another Term as Board Chairman

Volkswagen AG’s supervisory board nominating committee proposed reelecting Hans Dieter Poetsch as chairman, extending his decade-long tenure.

Poetsch said he’s willing to keep leading the supervisory board during “these challenging times” and that his goal remains “to help strengthen this great company and make it resilient for the future,” the automaker said in a statement Friday.
