Target Plans to Tighten Dress Code Rules for Store Employees

Target Corp. is changing its dress code for store workers, part of an effort to make the shopping experience more consistent and rejuvenate growth under a new chief executive officer.

The company plans to require store workers to wear plain red shirts with blue jeans or khakis, said people familiar with the matter, who asked not to be named discussing internal matters.
