The Australian miner’s local unit will pay royalties on a scale linked to the spot prices of the lithium-bearing mineral, known as spodumene. It will range from 5% when the price for concentrate is below $1,500 a ton to 12% if it exceeds $3,200 — under a lease ratified by parliament, the company said Friday.
