ZF Hints at More Asset Sales After Separating Its Wind Division

ZF Friedrichshafen AG signaled it may divest additional businesses as it seeks to reduce its €10.2 billion ($11.7 billion) net debt load.

The German auto-parts maker has spun off its wind power division into a standalone unit, saying on Thursday the move will open up “strategic options” for the business. The company is already pursuing asset sales and in December agreed to divest its driver-assistance business ADAS to Samsung Electronics Co.’s Harman for €1.5 billion.
