The number of residential mortgage products available in the UK has dropped to the lowest in more than seven months.

There were 6,888 residential mortgage products on the market on Thursday, according to data from Moneyfacts Group Plc. That’s down from 7,007 the previous day, and about 7,500 at the start of March.
