Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban defied pressure from European allies to unlock aid for Ukraine, saying he won’t budge until oil flows from Russia are restored.

“Hungary is ready to support Ukraine when we get our oil which is blocked by them,” Orban said ahead of a summit meeting of European Union leaders in Brussels on Thursday. “We’re waiting for the oil, the rest is just fairy tales.”
